  1. Great point about parking but it will really be hard to sell to today’s developer who doesn’t see the intangible results of having more parking. Communities that partner with other entities (urban) or build enough spaces will benefit in the long run – great marketing tool but too many developers cut cut cut – Those buildings will suffer most in the future – the days of the institutional AL are going away. It has already hit IL – just look at the occupancy in buildings 12-14 years old. Trust me it’s not the economy it’s the stale look.
